Seraph & Serif M is a personal project initiated to build knowledge and skill in the areas of digital collage, digital illustration, character design, wordplay and typography. The initial idea was brought to life in 2018 as a way to produce content on a weekly basis.

Challenge: Each character begins with

a theme that corresponds to their name and title. From there, images that fit that theme are gathered. A composition is constructed by cutting, arranging, and manipulating the gathered images. Additional shading and illustrating help to meld and add dimension. Then comes the fine tuning to establish

a consistency in color, contrast, and overall feel. Each character is then accompanied by a font for their &M logo that compliments their style.
